Sometimes, the very life events we thought would be easy end up being the ones we find most difficult. With over 25 years as a marriage and family therapist, I understand how challenging raising a child, building a relationship and then keeping it healthy and vibrant or just managing the transitions that are a part of everyday life can be. I firmly believe that we all have the capacity to learn and grow. My experience working with individuals and couples, teenagers and families has taught me that, with help, people have the power to overcome so many obstacles.

I am also an Adjunct Professor and Program Director at Hofstra University. In my work with clients, I offer a solution-oriented approach where individuals feel supported as they rediscover strengths and families reconnect. Together, we create a plan to help you on the path you wish to be on.

People are sometimes frightened to begin therapy but come to understand what a tremendous help it can be. If you're overwhelmed or experiencing problems with a partner or child, you may already be living the scariest part. Call for an appointment and let's start to make a change.

Do you feel challenged or stuck? Are you overwhelmed with life stresses? Do you yearn for a better relationship with your partner or family? Let me help you and your loved ones meet life’s challenges and create meaningful relationships.   As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that trust, understanding and acceptance help create a safe and secure therapy environment. I feel it is important to provide affordable care suited to each individual’s needs. Together we will work to build on your strengths and create attainable therapeutic goals.

Healthy relationships are the cornerstone of our well-being.  At times we all tend to snap at our families, lose patience with others, feel overwhelmed by our jobs and unable to face all the challenges in life.  We also desire love, happiness, fulfillment and peace - but how do we get there in the midst of daily life and strife?

As a Marriage and Family Therapist,   I will help you and your loved ones recognize and change the repetitive, ineffective or destructive patterns of thoughts, words and behaviors in a safe, supervised atmosphere - by focusing on your strengths, goals and solutions to achieve positive changes in your relationships.
